| January 2013 | The Lewis Chessmen | Today I received the two FDCs and the two presentation packs of The Lewis Chessmen stamps I ordered, online, a short while ago. I wanted to write to say that the six stamps in the set are truly excellent. Although The Lewis Chessmen are quite small they are the most astonishing artefacts and are most beautiful works of art. Your stamps, and the photo on the presentation pack, have captured the images so well. At a time when most stamp designs from most postal authorities do not deserve any congratulations, Isle of Man Stamps & Coins deserves full praise for this most delightful set of stamps. (Email) |

As a fan of both shipping, the sea, lighthouses, ships and of course The Isle of Man Steam Packet Co you have time and time raised the bar on the high standards of your stamps, first day covers and Special Folders which is a real credit, Well Done! It is a tough decision to decide which is my favourite the Titanic Special Folder and Stamps or the Special Signed Print of There’s a Boat in The Morning, they are the high standard I have never seen before.
